1) Evrim , can you give us a brief introduction of yourself, in your own words?.
"I won’t talk about my past. It can take pages to talk." I am a Singer / Composer trying to give some direction to the music. My creativity comes from my job-Architecture. I can give up anything in life except for music. I can give up my life for it because it gives me a big power, I breath it deeply everyday. How many other can ? In short I can define myself as : A Quality Searcher, A Taste Catcher. Me ," Evrim Tuzun "’s style is : Dance to the last... Rock to the end... Ballads to make hearts bleed...
2)When did you begin singing/writing music firstly?
Ohh I won’t give a classical answer and say " since I was born I sing " Someone broke my heart really bad one day and it was 12 years ago. I thought how can I get through this, I took my newly bought guitar in my hand. And I said yeah, music never gives you up, in a good day or a bad day. Allways near by yourside. 2 days later I made my first song which is not made of chords. I knew nothin in fact. But 2 years after, I was singing my own songs in concerts. It was a tunnel, yeah something in me was forcing me ... Kill me , hurt me to do that. Sorry I couldn't stop it. I love singing. Hope that I die while I am singing all of you a love song that comes all deep inside my heart.
3) Do you play any instruments? If so, which ones and how long have you been playing?
Yeah I’ve been playin guitar for nearly 12 years. Also I use keyboards basicly to compose my songs. I use technology in a very effective way. In today’s digital world, you can play any instrument, with the help of a keyboard. It’s important to know what you have in your hand and how you can use this wheapon !
4) When you write, where does the inspiration for your lyrics come from?
Deep in my heart, stucked, hurt feelings come out one by one . Lyrics mmmm Well, it depends on my mood. But mostly lyrics comes with the music. Most important thing is the combined harmony of these elements. If it flows then it becomes a hit! So you don’t think it’s in English or not. That is why most people around all countries listen my songs. " CISSS" (a reduplication in Turkish means suffer) and writes beautiful comments about it. That makes me responsible to create more Quality Music.
5) Being a Turkish from Turkey, have you met any barriers that you’ve had to overcome to cross into the American independent scene?
No ... Maybe everyone would say " Yeah they don’t let me grow to be a part of the big game" . Hell no ! Because what you think will happen in life and come in front of you... No excuses , no excuses my friends. If you are making what ever you do deep in your heart, that will succeed ! And you must have passion, runnin in your veins. That is the power and nothing , noone can ever stop that. The success is what you do. You must try to find the mistake in yourself, before blaiming the others. Yes, I will do that, even I sing in English, Turkish or what ever language people will get that energy from my music. I know if they let me introduce myself to their hearts just for a second, they will get addicted to my songs. My love is for everyone, I love them all

6) What are your goals, so far as being a musician?
I am climbing the stairs step by step but so cool and patiently. If you become avarage that means you become zero. Only the ones who takes Risks in life can become Number 1. You mustn’t be a follower, if you wanna go far and break your chains. You have to make a change and give some direction to the music. I did create the music I want, not the thing that the music industry forces me ! This is my difference from the others. Style is what people should create. Yeah We are all bored of dublicated stars... People (rocker -rapper -or clubber) doesnt matter listens to my music. That is un believeable. Taste is something, that everybody shares. Believe it or not, that is what I hear! You can see it in my Myspace audience’s comments also. If people say Yeah I know this song " That is Evrim Tuzun’s style ". That is the point ! To put a style in Music is my goal with my singing, songs and compositions. Making your mark in music is the global thing, I want that, I hope I’ll get that one day.
7) With websites such as Myspace,what do you think about effects of internet on music industry?
Internet has become a huge part of music industry today. World has become global and networking is key to reach your goals, if you have quality in whatever you do. You can meet people who are going in the right direction with you. Then you merge your power with them. And that's all about Sinergy baby! It makes the biggest Energy!
Myspace is one of the best sites to begin creating your future career. I am 1st in myspace Pop/Rock/RnB categories in Myspace Turkey and i am in TOP 100 USA World Chart Myspace lately. Our real and virtual lifes are combined. Nearly all of us sit in front of our computer screen for hours and we listen to music. Every musician must be aware of the net’s importance.
8) Is there anything else you’d like to let fans know about you or your music?
Less is MORE...Less is MORE...
It’s very hard to get that. Style can’t be created without working hard...

Energetic.., Sexy…, Music that Makes you get up on your feet and start to Dance…, A little ethnic spicy, his sound has an emotion of the 70’s taking to the futuristic.
